Julie A. Allen    Owner,  Certified Pilates Instructor,  NASM-CPT,

Certified Assistant Instructor: Pilates for Dressage®

I began taking mat Pilates and yoga over 15 years ago as a way to stay fit and healthy in my off time. In 2007, after consecutive pregnancies, I developed severe back problems and suffered with daily chronic pain. A friend suggested that I start taking Pilates sessions on the apparatus to help manage and/or eliminate this pain.  Amazingly,  after one month of  studio Pilates sessions, my back pain was eliminated. This is when I realized that the Pilates system was different than any form of exercise than I had previously encountered. After personally experiencing its diverse benefits, I became a certified instructor through Power Pilates in 2008 and have been teaching ever since.

As time went on, I wanted to deepen my understanding of the authentic Pilates. The best way to do this was to learn directly from Master Instructor,  Romana Kryzanowska.   In early 2011,  after a year and a half old-world style apprenticeship at Body Central Studio, I received certification from Romana Kryzanowska by Juanita Lopez and Sari Mejia Santo. Since my initial certification in 2008, I have traveled across the United States to study with many of Pilates top instructors such as Romana herself,  Jay Grimes, Juanita Lopez, Sari Mejia Santo, Cynthia Lochard, Janis Dulak, Mejo Wiggins, Michael Rooks, Bob Leikens, and Mari Winsor. In addition to my extensive classical Pilates training, I am also a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and in January 2015 earned my  Pilates for Dressage® Assistant Instructor certification from Janis Dulak in Ocala, Florida.

My philosophy is that classical Pilates is for anyone that wants to work smarter rather than harder. The Pilates system can be individually tailored to enhance performance in any sport or modality.  It can produce results regardless of age or fitness level, which means it is a perfect fit for anyone. I am dedicated to the health of my client's and teaching Pilates in its purest form, as Joe intended it.

  Erin Marlette    Certified Pilates Instructor

Erin was introduced to Pilates in 1987 as a professional dancer. Following her dance career she completed her teacher training with Romana’s Pilates, an internationally recognized, classical teacher training program founded by Joseph Pilates protege, Romana Kryzanowska.

Erin brings an in-depth knowledge of the body to her teaching, thanks to her years of dance as well as her 30-years experience as a massage therapist. Erin, having dealt personally with her own injuries over the years, has a profound sense of compassion for others and a desire to lead them to better health through Pilates.

Jeanne Deitrich    Certified Pilates Instructor                                                                                                           Certified Assistant Instructor: Pilates for Dressage®

Jeanne received her ballet training at the Atlanta Ballet Centre for Dance Education, Burklyn Ballet Theatre, Cincinnati Ballet, and American Ballet Theatre. She graduated from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music with a Master of Arts degree in Arts Administration. She has worked in New York City with Frank Salomon Associates as a concert and artist manager, Eliot Feld as a ballet company manager, and with the New York City Ballet as a finance associate.

She began her Pilates training in New York to complement her ballet studies and continued after moving home to Atlanta. While recuperating from a severe dance injury, Jeanne realized how Pilates could strengthen her entire body while allowing for the healing process. Because of this experience, she decided to become a certified Pilates instructor and received her certification with Romana's Pilates in 2003. In January, 2015 Jeanne also received her  Pilates for Dressage® Assistant Instructor certification from  Janis Dulak in Ocala, Florida.
